What's in the restoration template library
XtimatePro ships with 10 restoration templates — part of 80+ system templates across 8 trades. Each one is a real mitigation or rebuild scope with extraction, equipment days, and labor already broken out as line items, and every template starts editable: change quantities, prices, and line items to match the loss before you send it.
- Water mitigation Cat 1 (single room) — clean-water extraction and a 3-day dry-out for a ~150 sf room.
- Mold remediation Level 2 (10-30 sqft) — EPA Level 2 containment, negative air, HEPA vacuuming, PPE per tech-day.
- Smoke/soot cleaning (per room) — walls, ceiling, and contents wipe-down with odor sealing and fogging.
- Content pack-out & cleaning — pack out to off-site storage, clean, store, and return.
- Carpet pad replacement + extraction — detach carpet, replace pad, extract, treat, reinstall.
- Dehumidifier deployment (per day) — per-day LGR dehumidifier billing with a daily moisture log.
- Air mover deployment (per day) — per-unit, per-day billing the way carriers expect to see it.
- Antimicrobial application — IICRC-approved antimicrobial after extraction, priced per square foot.
- Flood cut drywall removal — 2-foot flood cut with insulation removal and debris haul.
- Reconstruction scope (post-mitigation) — insulation, drywall, paint, and baseboard to put the room back.
How restoration contractors use XtimatePro
- Document the loss on arrival. Photo-document the affected areas, record the cause of loss and date of loss, and take initial moisture readings before the first piece of equipment goes in.
- Build the scope and run the drying logs. Pull the Cat 1 water mitigation template, set air mover and LGR dehumidifier counts billed per unit per day, and price everything from your own pricebook. Then log daily moisture readings against drying goals — IICRC S500-style drying logs with daily monitoring are built in, not bolted on.
- Get authorization, then get to the adjuster. The homeowner e-signs the work authorization on your phone and pays a Stripe deposit if you collect one. Export a claim-ready PDF with ACV/RCV, depreciation, cause-of-loss, and the drying documentation the carrier will ask for anyway.
Frequently asked
Will adjusters accept the estimate?
The PDF export is built for claims: ACV/RCV columns, depreciation, cause-of-loss, date-of-loss, claim number, and equipment billed per unit per day. Paired with photos and drying logs, it gives the adjuster what they need to review the file.
Does it support IICRC S500 drying logs?
Yes — drying logs with daily moisture readings are a shipped feature, not a roadmap item. Record readings at each monitoring visit, track them against drying goals, and include the log in your claim documentation.
Can it export Xactimate (.esx) files?
Not yet. Today you get a claim-ready PDF, and the Crew plan adds CSV and Symbility export. Native .esx export is on the roadmap, but we will not promise a date for it.
Can I use my own pricing instead of a published price list?
Yes. You set your own pricebook rates and every template pulls from them. There is also an importable 20-item restoration starter pricebook to start from.
How much does it cost?
Flat pricing: Solo is $39/mo, Pro is $89/mo, and Crew is $149/mo. Unlimited estimates with no per-estimate fees, and a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
Restoration losses rarely stay in one trade. XtimatePro also covers roofing contractors and general contractors for the rebuild side — and if you are weighing it against Xactimate, read the XtimatePro vs Xactimate comparison.
